Meet Ryan Winfield, CDT, with Dental Prosthetics Lab

How long have you been a technician?
I started as an entry-level delivery driver seven years ago. Since that time, I have worked in many facets of the dental laboratory. I earned my CDT and found dentures, specifically All-On-X, a niche where I have been able to thrive.
What’s the most challenging aspect of your practice?
Dental Prosthetics Lab works with a variety of surgical groups, periodontists and general practitioners. Therefore, my knowledge base is enhanced daily with all the new and emerging implant companies and multiple brands such as Astra, Nobel and Straumann that have their followers within the dental industry.
What do you love about what you do?
I love the process, from beginning to end. I enjoy being part of every patient’s journey, changing their lives one smile at a time. No person’s smiles are the same. Every day I come to work to something new and different, challenged with making acrylic and porcelain come alive in the patients’ mouths.
Why do you like working with Cagenix?
Everyone at Cagenix is a great communicator. They make the impossible simple, efficient and the final product looks and feels genuine. You never have to sell anyone on Cagenix. When the doctor and patient see it, they want it!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
My wife and kids are always a priority for me. I have three kids under the age of four; boy, girl, boy. I love cooking anything, from smoking meat to baking bread and cookies.
